Quality Techno Certifications (QTC) is proud to announce the successful completion of an ecological survey project for the King Abdulaziz Royal Reserve, carried out in partnership with Al Ofoq Al Arabi Engineering Consultancy. This survey is an essential component of QTC’s Environmental Services, reflecting its commitment to supporting environmental preservation and sustainable development initiatives across Saudi Arabia. The study will be formally submitted to the King Abdulaziz Royal Reserve Development Authority, led by King Saud University, as per the terms of QTC’s contract with Al Ofoq Al Arabi Engineering.
The ecological survey conducted by QTC is a critical step toward understanding and preserving the biodiversity within the King Abdulaziz Royal Reserve. This reserve is an area of ecological significance, home to unique plant and animal species that contribute to the region’s natural heritage. By thoroughly surveying and documenting the ecological status of the reserve, QTC provides valuable data that will inform future conservation and development efforts aimed at maintaining the reserve’s natural balance.
Biodiversity Assessment
Cataloging plant and animal species within the reserve to assess biodiversity levels and identify key species for protection.
Habitat Analysis

Quality Techno Certifications (QTC) is pleased to announce the successful completion of an Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) certification project in collaboration with SWANCO, a leading company in the wiring industry. This project focused on obtaining EPD certification for three of SWANCO’s wiring products, targeting both the local Saudi market and export to the European Union. The products have now been officially registered on the EPD International website, highlighting their compliance with rigorous environmental standards and SWANCO’s commitment to sustainability.
The EPD certification process, completed under QTC’s Sustainability Services department, provides SWANCO with verified, transparent data on the environmental impact of its wiring products. The EPD certification aligns with global sustainability goals, positioning these products as environmentally responsible choices for customers in both the domestic and EU markets. By obtaining this certification, SWANCO demonstrates its dedication to reducing environmental impact and meeting the growing demand for sustainable products in construction and manufacturing sectors.
QTC’s team conducted a comprehensive Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) for each of the three SWANCO wiring products. This LCA examined the environmental impact of each product across its entire lifecycle, from raw material extraction to manufacturing, distribution, use, and disposal. To ensure accuracy and compliance with EPD standards, QTC used advanced modeling techniques via OneClick software, a leading tool for LCA and environmental impact analysis. This approach enabled precise assessment and reporting, meeting the stringent criteria required for EPD certification.
Following the successful certification process, all three SWANCO wiring products are now officially listed on the EPD International website, providing easy access to EPD documentation for stakeholders, buyers, and regulatory bodies. This public listing not only demonstrates SWANCO’s commitment to transparency and sustainability but also enhances the company’s reputation and credibility in environmentally conscious markets.
This project with SWANCO underscores QTC’s dedication to supporting companies in achieving their sustainability goals. As demand for environmentally responsible products continues to rise, QTC’s Sustainability Services department is committed to providing expert guidance in obtaining certifications like EPD, helping clients align with international standards and consumer expectations for sustainable practices.
