What is the EPD?
Are you looking for eco-friendly products with clear and scientifically supported information? An Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) certificate is your answer. It is a detailed report that shows exactly what material the product is made of and how it affects the environment throughout its shelf life. Architects and designers rely on EPDs to identify sustainable materials that receive LEED v4 certifications and other green building assessments.
Why should you go with QTC?
QTC has been a leader in Saudi Arabia in third-party environmental and sustainability verification, certification, auditing, testing and standards development. QTC has an experienced in-house Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) team that manages every aspect of the EPD process, and works with you to ensure a smooth, efficient and accurate Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) conduct.
We offer two services as the software operator:
- LCA & EPD development. QTC performs LCA and generates an EPD report based on the relevant PCR. The EPD is then independently verified by an external third party before being published.
- EPD verification. If you have already performed an LCA, QTC can critically analyze it and provide a sample of the EPD. QTC will compare the EPD with the assigned LCA and PCR report.
- If PCR testing for your industry category is not yet available, QTC can help develop a product category base (PCR).
